Inker Central Cooling Manifold

Design Aims

To design and manufacture a simple and more efficient water cooling system for Inker units.

Product Description

The original method of cooling inkers was to feed only one roller with chilled water and then run the same water through three more rolls, this meant that the water to cool the last roll had been significantly increased in temperature.

By using the manifold we can ensure that each inker roller is being provided with chilled and clean water, once the water has cooled the roll it is fed back into the manifold and returned to the filters and chilled again.
